RYA Online Yacht Master Course
Enrolling in the RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory course represents a pivotal step towards becoming a proficient skipper, capable of confidently managing your boat on extended voyages. This course places a strong emphasis on electronic position finding equipment, taking and interpreting forecasts, plotting weather systems, and weather predictions using a barometer under both sail and power.
The RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Theory course includes 40 hours of learning with the addition of exam time to earn your qualification. There are also options available to complete the course remotely or in a classroom, so you can learn at your own pace and convenience.
Acquiring this qualification not only boosts a skipper’s confidence but also equips them to navigate more challenging waters, enhancing their overall sailing capabilities. It is also a prerequisite for those wishing to obtain a Yachtmaster qualification.
