We run a skills assessment prior to every RYA Powerboat Instructors course or can offer this on a private tuition basis.
The skills assessment is to make sure your personal knowledge and boat handling is up to scratch before embarking on your instructors course.
Being able to handle a boat above the level of Powerboat Level 2 is needed and a broad background knowledge base to enable you to effectively teach a subject.
1/2 day direct assessment £99
Private tuition approx 2-3 hours £199
Next Skills Assessment - 24th October
The 3 day Powerboat Instructor course will guide you step by step through the process used by the RYA to safely and effectively teach the powerboating syllabus.
With a max of 6 students in 2 separate boats you will get plenty of on water practical time combined with shore based theory sessions and presentations.
