Family Adventures

Have a go at driving a powerboat. A big family adventure  and move from the slow speed manouvers in the harbour out into Weymouth Bay and increase the power for a bit of high speed skill. A great family activities for the holidays.

Recommended group size 3-4

For a family adventure of over two hours, we can tour the Jurassic Coast. Spectacular scenery, cliffs, caves, coves and more.  Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove or Portland Bill. 

For larger groups, we will run 2 intro to powerboat sessions for up to 4 people in the first hour where everyone gets to drive. The skipper will then drive the coast 

With seals and dolphins in the area, we have a really good chance of seeing something, typically in Portland Harbour. However all our cruises have a good chance of seeing wildlife like cormorants, sea birds and potentially dolphins. Unfortunately no guarantees here. 

These aren't thrill rides but we can give everyone a chance to drive. With experienced instructors and skippers, all ages and experiences can get a chance to drive the boat. starting with slow speed manoeuvres and moving onto high speed, everyone is guaranteed a great fun time. 

These sessions are done close to Weymouth Harbour and for larger groups, we may do this in 2 sessions. 

 Spend the whole day on the boat. 

• Slow speed manoeuvres in the harbour
• Tour Portland Harbour, looking for seals and dolphins
• High speed manoeuvres out in the bay
• Trip down the Jurassic Coast to Durdle Door and Lulworth, all with members of the family driving the boat.  
• Choice of Weymouth Harbour, Portland Marina, Lulworth Cove for Lunch. 

This trip is weather dependant and the skipper of the boat will do their best to get everyone driving when close to Weymouth Harbour however it will be at their discretion.
