Recognising the work of our emergency services, especially the Weymouth RNLI is key to what we do and we aim to support them with crew training, provision of nationally accepted courses and general recognition where we can. Thats why we offer a Blue Light Card Discount
Weymouth RNLI
For all crew members of the RNLI who are engaged in training, we will offer significant discounts, of up to 75% off, depending on the course. Discuss your options at any time!
All other RNLI and Emergency services
As part of our programme of support, we will offer holders of the blue light card discounts on all our on water and shore based training, examples of which are
- 25% off group taster sessions
- Various discounts on our Jurassic coast trips
- Book anyone with a blue light card onto a shore based course which is already running and get 20% off the course price
Weymouth Lifeboat
Weymouth is one of the busiest lifeboat stations on England’s south coast. It operates two lifeboats – Ernest and Mabel, a Severn class all-weather lifeboat, and Jack & Phyl Cleare, a B class Atlantic 85.
The current generation of B class lifeboat is called the Atlantic 85 – named after Atlantic College in Wales where these rigid inflatable lifeboats (RIBs) were first developed. 85 represents its length – nearly 8.5m.

Our Severn class lifeboat is the largest lifeboat in the RNLI fleet. She was developed in the early 1990s and introduced into the fleet in 1996
